My roots and my family's roots go back generations right here in Arizona. I’m a mom, a grandma, and I’m very involved in helping our returning veterans through a non-profit organization that I run. My work was inspired by my personal hero, my son Brent, who lost both legs in Iraq while he was fighting for all of us and our liberty. I think it is because of him that I agreed to take on this race -- I don't want to be a politician, I just want someone to go to the Capitol and do the right thing.
